The P6 transformed a good workaday tractor into real powerhouse. The extra wheel weights are essential to give better traction and balance for the heavier engine and added power.

Had ine of those back in the 1950s but it had a low speed gear box. You couldn't swing it like the TVO models, had a young chap try once and it knock three teeth out ehrn it kicked back.

1:33 Drawbar above the rear axle centre line will make it a lot easier to do a back flip when moving a heavy load.

The first new wagon my Dad ever bought was a Kew Dodge - reg. no. 677 RTC - with one of these engines in and a five speed gearbox. He absolutely loved that truck, so much better than what had gone before. I was with him when he picked it up from TGB Motors at Clitheroe. It was still in primer, but I remember the look of utter delight on his face as we drove back to the yard at Morecambe - he said, several times on the way, "It's just like driving a car"! This would have been around 1956 and I remember every detail of that day like it was yesterday, yet I go in the garage now then can't remember what I've gone in for!!.

120 hp 3 furrow plough on light sandy soil flat out in third gear certainly not working hard just making noise.

father bought one trailed randsome in 59 ish remeber him being busy combining neighbours - dexta driving it!- it replaced the binders and threshers - tankers took over by mid 60s so he didnt use it again - rusted away - sadly scrappy had it in 76

Smart looking old combine. Looks like its the early MST 42. The MST 56 came later. Their may have been another model available. The numbers relate to the width of cut in inches. Im sure the drum was the same width on both models. These things were way before my time.

We had an oké e27n on the farm when I was a child.. But it had only 3 gears...🤔 And the second gear was much slower than this....

O the sweet sound of that major .Oh and itd handle a 4 sod with ease .This man can plough too.Hes easily doing 10 " driving her on to make the sods flip over ..A cracking video ...Its not near long enough ..

Theres a man that knows how to plough .Tipping along with a 3 sod and the tractors just ticking over .

Dad had a D2 for plowing. Remember it would use like 5 gal of fuel all day. One of my favorite memories - running the tractor all day, Dad built a dozer for it also, so it was very useful

It seems that tractor is singing a sweet song ever for...! Fordson is my one of favorite tractor, I like it very much but now I have a Kirloskar(Deutz)4006. I want to purchase Fordson only for hoby.
